I was picking my kids up from school today. There are 3 lanes at the school and then the parking lot. The first 2 lanes by the sidewalk are for parents to pick up their kids. I use the 2nd lane daily. This way I can pull up to where the kids are standing by their teacher and I dont have to get the twins out of the car.
3pm I get to my normal spot I sit at. The children get out at first dismissal which is 320. My children come out I wave at the teacher and she lets the kids walk to my car.
Austin is almost in tears telling me a story of this child whom has been picking on him since the school years started. So I see his teacher on the sidewalk standing with her class and I get out of my car.
I speak with the teacher for only a moment explaining my concerns about today. I turn around to walk back to my car....... AND ITS NOT THERE. Seriously the car and my children are NOT THERE. As you can imagine that 3-5 seconds it took me to see my car a million things ran through my head. I then see my van up about 5 spots and parked in the 1st lane. I RUN to my van. As I am getting in I ask the boys who moved my car. Austin said Mrs. BlahBlah did....
Why the heck would she take it upon herself to get in my car LET alone move my car????? I was standing on the sidewalk with my back faced to the traffic.. They were right behind me. AND my car was shut off. So she started my car AND moved it.
I then move my car up some and pick up the other kiddo I was picking up today. I step out of my car and am speaking with a Dean about the situation. I see 2 teachers walking down the sidewalk. One says "So then I just got in and moved the car.. I should have taken the keyes also" and the other one says "I would have" I turned my head and said EXCUSE ME.... and gave a mature piece of my mind without getting all loud with the other parents and children around me.
She then just this snotty remark about me blocking traffic. and looked at the dean. I then got back in my car. Parked in a spot and took the children inside with me and excused myself as I went into the office. Once I explained everything to the principal it took everything I had to walk back out and keep smiling so my children didnt think Mrs. BlahBlah was a "horrible person".
